The Club
Aztec Doberman Pinscher Club has been an active Doberman club since it was created in 1967. We serve the San Diego area and have members in San Diego, Riverside, Orange and Los Angeles Counties as well as the southwestern United States. We are a group of dedicated individuals who are Doberman owners and fanciers and have a special love of this magnificient breed. While the group ranks have swollen and contracted over the years, our dedication and love of this breed has never waivered. We have always had the good fortune of having motivated and involved people as members of our club.
We're glad you stopped by and hope you find things of interest in these pages. Keep in mind that what you see in these pages is only a small part of what our club is all about. Thankfully our club members have varied interests and points of view. We hope you see enough to make you interested to stop by one of our public meetings. We know if you visit us you will find a tidbit of information that is useful and perhaps puts this wonderful breed in a better light - you see, Dobermans are our passion.
One of the areas on this web site and in the club that we are especially are proud of is our award winning Doberman Rescue Program, Chaired by Angie Monteleon and supported by dedicated volunteers, who have saved and placed hundreds of Dobermans. Unfortunately, each year we seem to find more Dobermans in need of rescuing. Look at our adoption pages, we have been touched by each and every Doberman you see. Most are wonderful success stories, a couple sadly did not work out the way we would have liked. Every one of the Dobermans live in our hearts and minds and will forever - they are each special in their own way. Some have been wildly successful, beyond our expectations or hopes, like Baby and Braveheart, some sadly disappointing, like Cayanne. Yet we know each was better for having come to our rescue and we will forever have them in our hearts and minds.
