From 1967 to now
The Aztec Doberman Pinscher Club of San Diego, Inc., was founded in 1967 and is a Chapter Club Member of the Doberman Pinscher Club of America (DPCA). We sponsored the 50th Golden Jubilee, Doberman Pinscher Club of America National Specialty and Convention in 1975, and again hosted the DPCA National in 1993. We also did the Diamond Jubilee in 2000.
The Club Historian maintains many albums containing marked Specialty catalogs, photographs and memorabilia from past Aztec events and shows.
The National Animal Interest Alliance (NAIA) presented their award for "Outstanding Contributions to Pure Bred Dog Rescue" to our Rescue Coordinator, Angie Monteleon, and the Aztec Doberman Pinscher Club of San Diego, on January 25, 1997.
