February event
Every February, the Aztec Doberman Pinscher Club of San Diego, Inc., holds an American Kennel Club (AKC) sanctioned Doberman Specialty Dog Show.
This event is in conjunction with the Silver Bay Kennel Club's annual all-breed dog shows, which are held on the third Saturday and Sunday of February. On the Friday before the Silver Bay Kennel Club show, about 15 or so breed clubs participate in the Specialty event. The show will be at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. Aztec DPC supports the obedience trials at the San Diego Obedience Club's trials held at the same time also at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.
