Oso

is an 18 month black and tan all natural (ears and tail) male. He has put on weight, is a playful and mischevious youth.

He was found as a stray by animal control, skinny and confused. He is a very energetic young boy who is learning to walk on a leash and become a well behaved dog. It was obvious that Oso's previous owner didn't bother give him any sort of training.

Oso is pretty smart, quickly learning basic obedience, sit, down and stay. He gets excited around other dogs, but has shown that he knows how to behave around new dogs, it is just a matter of reinforcing the training.

As with any dog, time, training and the right mix of temperaments will be the key a happy home with other animals. For now, it is suggested that he go to a single animal home, or to an experienced handler who is able to provide the necessary training to make Oso a good citizen.
